Back In Shape Studio Located in Midtown Manhattan New York City 10019

Please come in to visit the Back in Shape Studio and either take a free class or get a free consultation to experience our unique and effective exercise program.  We’re proud of our studio and what we offer.  The small group classes are made up of like-minded people with similar goals. Our personal training programs are designed to target your individual needs. We customize a program to your needs and preferences. Students of all ages and fitness levels are welcome.
  • We have programs for the over 50+ older group who are interested in improving their fitness levels, but have the humor to enjoy the camaraderie of the studio.
  • Our Back In Shape Studio has a very informal, friendly, supportive, positive atmosphere.

We offer a plan of exercise, diet and stretching that results in leaner bodies, flatter stomachs; longer, suppler necks and limbs; and the weightlessness of a properly aligned spine; all of which results in a refreshed, energetic you.  You can work hard in our sessions and never irritate your back, neck, shoulders, or knees.  All of this in the clamor of our Midtown Manhattan Studio or the comfort of your home.

At the Back In Shape Studio, we focus on keeping all our joints mobile and flexible; our muscles stretched and strong, and our posture tall and graceful. And if it’s your back that’s limiting you; we can help you.

We love to teach students how to work their bodies correctly, and how to care for their bodies so they can participate strenuously and continue to enjoy their activities. We’re passionate about our work.

Our exercise programs can turn your entire life into a form of joyous exercise with simple techniques that reveal how all the parts of your body are connected. When you understand how one part of the body is connected to the other, you can set up a chain reaction that automatically clicks the body into shape.  Every activity involves muscles.

By learning which muscles you’re using, you can develop a permanent muscle memory and use them all the time.

When you care about your health and body and honor that feeling and come to stay in Shape, we’ll help motivate you to achieving all your fitness goals.  We’ve been in business since 1980, and many of our current students started with us back then.  Our sessions continue to be challenging, interesting and effective.

Since opening the Back in Shape Studio, we’ve had tremendous success in training our students to stay slim and fit and to look and feel better. We’ve enjoyed every day of doing that and welcome you into our Stay in Shape community for serious, joyful, beneficial exercising.
