BACK IN SHAPE EXERCISE STUDIO

Founded in 1980 in a brownstone studio off Manhattan's Fifth Avenue with 75 students per week. From 1984 to 1989, following the highest rating for exercise classes from the ever-popular New York magazine, clientele grew to 250 students per week with 10 instructors. In 1989, Ms. Jaffe reduced the number to 125 students per week with five instructors to devote more of her own time to an increasing number of private consultations. In New York Magazine's issue "The Best of New York", there was only one exercise studio listed ---Back In Shape. Let's fast-forward to 2006 and once again, Marjorie's honing in on her specialty -- keeping 50+ women and men fit and attractive.

MARJORIE JAFFE'S TRAVELING SPA VACATIONS

For the past fifteen years, Ms. Jaffe has been spa director of Traveling Spa Vacations- five to seven and weekend spas in Jamaica, Europe, Florida, Long Island and New York State. She conducts her Jamaica Spa Weeks at the luxurious Half Moon Golf, Tennis & Beach Club in Montego Bay. The Back in Shape Spa earned praises from The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, Travel & Leisure, Food and Wine, London's New Woman and the Associated Press.
